Urban Fauna Studio carries consignment yarns and fibers from 26+ indie fiber artists and supports more than 50 small fiber supply companies and craftspeople. 11:00 AM – The Cricket: An Easy To Use, Table Top Rigid Heddle Loom
Instructor: Lynn Li
Description: Come see Lynn Li, guest instructor at Urban Fauna Studio demonstrate the easy to use rigid heddle loom called the Cricket. This Schacht loom is compact, capable, and incredibly affordable. Lynn will demonstrate assembly of the loom; review the basic parts and operation. Examples of finished works will be shown.

1:00 PM – Create Mini Textiles in a Snap!
Instructor: Karrie Weaver
Description: Handheld looms are great portable craft tools that are perfect for using leftover bits of your luxury yarns. The mini-textiles they produce are an excellent showcase for yarn and fibers, and can be used as a canvas for fiber art and needlework projects. Join, Karrie Weaver, guest instructor from Urban Fauna Studio as she demonstrates the ease and use of the Hazel Rose Handheld Multi Loom. Se will demonstrate how to set up and finish a woven square using these handmade looms. Finished projects will be shown and sample looms will be available so attendees can try weaving on these clever tools.

Description: Come see Lizette, guest instructor at Urban Fauna Studio demonstrate the revolutionary Mach 1 and Travel Bee Spinning Wheel. Lizette will demonstrate the basic parts and operation of these innovative wheels and show examples of finished yarns.
