Recap: Maker Faire 2009
We had a great time and it was a great crowd this year. There were 78,000 attendees at this year’s Maker Faire Bay Area and people seemed to be supporting indie more than ever. I think it’s the sign of the times. We may not have a lot of money but we are willing to support the artists and craftspeople in our community. I know i sure did. With over half the vendors being new to Bazaar Bizarre, it was a dangerous show for my wallet! I scored some really original artwork and some great accessories. Thank you to all our UFS regulars for coming out to see us!
