I found this on make and am enamored with it’s charm. For Christmas my family has decided to make most of our presents, for financial and environmental reasons. Since my family loves cute things like this and I love nature what would be better than to make everyone in my family one of these, I dont know how to use a felting needle and am somewhat starting blind with this project so that is why this is an ideal craft project for me. Also do you know a good resource to find small figurines to place inside these terrariums?

Not only would this be a great introduction into a new craft, but the terrarium would allow me to bring a little bit of “nature” into my windowless office. And my coworkers would adore the gnome.

Love the terrarium! After major disappointment that the live terrariums I spent so much time creating didn’t survive I was beside myself delighted to see yours. Unable to take your class(prior engagement) the project was back burnered until I have time to collect all that’s needed. Winning this kit would be too much fun! thanks for a great blog and store!

gnome + woolly wonderland = love it! i’ll no longer have to buy and kill more indoor plants (on accident by over watering them). and, the woolly terrarium will be my wonderland for my thoughts and creative (w/ the help of the gnome of course =))!

I’ve been wanting to make a terrarium for awhile now. I live right down the street and I’ve been wanting to make a cute addition to my new home in the Richmond! What could be better than a woodland gnome?

I think gnomes are adorably cute! And I’ve tried terrariums in the past….but yours looks so much better! And will most definetly last longer than mine did! haha xxx

I love it! It’s awesome! I want it so bad! I love crafts! I love fiber and gnome!
