Camp Pluckyfluff March 09
We uploaded all the photos to the UFS Flickr Group from our recent Camp Pluckyfluff. Thanks to Barbara and Rachel for sending me additional pictures. Blas is modeling his first novelty plied yarn, filled with spirals, twists and granny stacks….he thought it was a great way to spend his B-day!

We had yummy Vietnamese noodles for lunch and several campers had bubble teas for dessert. Lexi taught how to novelty ply, do add-ins, spin fabric and tail spinning….among other fun techniques. Some highlights:
-> Blas made one crazy batt! It spun up nicely. More pictures of the yarn soon.
-> Rachel worked very hard to NOT DRAFT
With Lexi’s help she made some great looking yarns by the end of the day. Show us your Easter chick themed yarn when you’re done!
-> Both Barbara and Martha have been spinning less than 1 year! Kudos to them on their finished arts yarns. They were spinning like pros!
Another Camp Pluckyfluff will be planned for late summer and a Camp Pluckyfluff Second Session is planned for all the alums. Alums, drop us a line and let us know if you’re interested in taking a second class with Lexi!
